Since 1966, most of the United States has observed Daylight Savings Time from 2:00 a.m. on the first Sunday of April to 2:00 a.m. on the last Sunday of October. Beginning in 2007, most of the U.S. will begin Daylight Savings Time at 2:00 a.m. on the second Sunday in March and revert to standard time on the first Sunday in November.

NEC has made available a number of upgrade options that addresses this federally mandated change. To take advantage of these upgrades, please contact us at 570-451-1180 x130 or sales@midatl.com.

The following instructions will allow you to manually change the time on Key Systems and their related Voice Mail Platforms. Please note that PBX and Elite 48/192 customers require an upgrade to provide Automatic DST Switching. Electra Elite IPK systems will switch time on the original DST schedule without an upgrade. A field technician can implement a simple programming change on Electra Elite IPK II systems to adjust to the new schedule.
